I would give this place 4 stars for food, but 2.5 for service. We went for lunch and wanted to order off the menu. Absolutely everyone else in the restaurant was there for the buffet. Though you can order off the menu for lunch, and we did, the waitress treated us as if we were eating from the buffet and mostly ignored us. I had to call across the room to one server to get more water. No one ever came and asked us how the food was or if we needed anything. I ordered a glass of white wine and it was brought to me at room temperature. When I finally saw the waitress again to let her know that the wine was not chilled, she explained why, the bottle wasn't cold...
We ordered the appetizer that had four moles on it, which was very good. My husband had the steak with the mole, and I had the wild salmon with a different mole. The salmon did not compliment the flavor of the mole at all. Husband was very happy with steak.
This place is definitely an iffy proposition for lunch if you are not planning on eating from the buffet.
This is a wonderful AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant with delightful decor and amazing food. Their specialty is Oaxacan Mole but you will certainly enjoy everything from the tortilla chips bathed in three different moles, their enticing appetizers (we had the empanadas) and beautifully presented homemade entrees (not to mention handmade tortillas). Also a big plus is the friendly and attentive staff. They are knowledgeable and informative about the menu. Overall, we left very satisfied and will be returning to this little gem in Paramount soon. 😊
Recommend by a co-worker, figured I give it a try. Went during the buffet which by the way is $20 per person. Place , and decor is very nice. Staff very friendly, and attentive. Buffet is good, not a huge veriety, just simple which is a plus for me. Cafe de la Olla was also great, along with all the desserts.Would definitely recommend to try it.
As my first time in this restaurant I would say it was delicious, beyond as I expected, el mole oaxaqueño, yummy!! The craft drinks and specially "el pastel de elote"!! I definitely recommend this dessert.
Excellent food and service time after time, their complimentary chips and moles is by far a reason in its self to keep coming.
My favorite thing to order is the picaditas
Came here for during their morning hours and had a wonderful time.
Their breakfast menu entrees are all priced at $12. They served us warmed conchitas to snack on while we waited and they have delicious Café de olla
3/31/2019 Decided to take my wife to try something different in Mexican Food Tasty Recipe. Mariali approach with confidence in her menu recipes. My wife order chicken Chipotle and myself order chicken with red mole that was after Mariali brought us chips with three examples of mole on it. Black, green, and red moles all tasted very good. But red mole was my best choice. I do recomend the pineapple drink and their desserts are tasty. Great service and good attention every .10 minutes. The best great environment, colorful picture frames, very clean, food, drinks taste great and the best I heard live organ and live two good singers on weekends after 5 p.m.. Yes. Gives it the final touch for a great atmosphere and leave happy.
Thank you Mariali we had a great time.
We will be back.
Francisco.

Cafe de caso is AMAZING....
Shrimp, chicken and steak fajitas are excellent.
